A word of introduction from Pastor Steve

Welcome to Hollow Creek Baptist Church. We’re glad you’re visiting our website. And I look forward to an opportunity to greet you here for worship, Bible study or fellowship one day soon!

We’re a congregation of single adults, children, teens, parents, grandparents, great grandparents and single adults who gather here from communities around the Aiken-Graniteville-New Ellenton Area.

I grew up on Graniteville and then went off for 14 years in the Air Force. In 1992, I left the USAF for full-time seminary and ministry. My wife, Sandra, grew up in Harlem, GA. Our combined six children, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren here in the CSRA keep us busy — but not too busy to spend time getting to know you or your family. As Pastor, I want to be available to serve you any way I can. Aside from the pulpit, the bulk of my ministry happens in homes, hospitals, and community gatherings rather than in an office behind a desk.

Since September 2023, it has been my joy to teach, love, care for and equip those who make Hollow Creek their church home. In 40 years of ministry across five states, God has always been faithful, His word has always been sufficient and His people have left some of the deepest imprints in my heart and life. It’s my desire that each one of us would know that from the bottom of our hearts. Reach out, connect or visit with us soon. We’ll be looking for you!
